Research has shown that listening to music can reduce anxiety, blood pressure, and pain as well as improve sleep quality, mood, mental alertness, and memory. CorsoCare Hospice has volunteer opportunities in Oxford for compassionate, empathetic individuals who want to share the gift of music with our patients through playing an instrument, singing or playing recorded music. No musical experience or professional training needed.
You will be provided ongoing one-on-one staff support throughout your service with us and will be invited to voluntary education opportunities and appreciation events.
If you have any questions, or need further information, please contact Nikki Gerber, Volunteer Recruiting Specialist/Administrative Assistant, at (248) 260-8257 or nicole.gerber@corsocare.com.
"Music speaks what cannot be expressed; soothes the mind and gives it rest; heals the heart and makes it whole; flows from heaven to the soul." -K.C. Lynn

Your team does more than ease pain - they lift spirits, guide meaningful conversations and help you savor the little moments.
